Job summary

Arctech is seeking an Equipment Technician to perform daily inspection, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of production equipment to ensure smooth operation.

The role involves diagnosing mechanical faults, tackling electrical issues, maintaining records, managing spare parts, and responding quickly to breakdowns to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial equipment maintenance.
• Ability to work independently with strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills and ability to read simple electrical diagrams preferred.
• Ability to use basic electrical testing tools, such as a multimeter.
• Strong sense of responsibility and ability to handle emergency maintenance and breakdowns in a production environment.
• Electrician, welding, or special equipment operation certificates are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspection, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults including pneumatic and hydraulic systems, bearings, guide rails, drive systems, and equipment structures.
• Troubleshoot basic electrical issues including sensors, limit switches, contactors, frequency inverter alarms, and motor wiring.
• Maintain maintenance and repair records and recommend improvements for recurring equipment failures.
• Perform spare parts replacement and support spare parts inventory monitoring.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns, identify root causes, and restore production with minimum downtime.
