Job summary

SGS is seeking an environmental expert in Riyadh to support client offices with regulatory compliance and environmental testing programs. You will prepare comprehensive reports, review regulations, and recommend testing parameters across local and international standards.

You will also develop technical recommendations, support regulatory submissions, and ensure adherence to EPA, NCEC, ISO, and related standards, collaborating with other SGS teams to deliver quality service.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• 6–10 years of relevant laboratory and environmental monitoring experience.
• Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).

Job Description

The environmental expert will be responsible for delivering support to meet the needs of business at our client’s offices (government affiliate).

More specifically, you will:

• Prepare periodic reports on environmental conditions and pollution levels.


• Review local and international regulations and classify pollutants.


• Recommend appropriate environmental parameters for testing based on the type of pollution, environmental medium, and applicable classifications.


• Prepare reports on local and international best practices for environmental sample collection, preservation, and location selection.


• Prepare reports on approved local and international best practices for environmental sample analysis.


• Prepare technical reports for environmental surveys and studies.


• Analyze environmental data and reports upon request.


• Prepare, review, and interpret environmental reports and monitoring data.


• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards (EPA, NCEC, ISO, etc.).


• Prepare technical recommendations and advisory reports.


• Support clients with regulatory submissions and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.


• Minimum of 6–10 years of relevant laboratory and environmental monitoring experience.


• Experience working with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
