Job summary

KEO International is seeking a site engineer to manage inspection requests, review shop drawings, and ensure quality and safety on site. You will maintain daily site records and coordinate across disciplines while providing technical input to resolve on-site issues. A Diploma in Engineering with 2+ years of experience is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of work experience at a similar site.

Responsibilities

• Attend Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action.
• Review submitted shop drawings against contract drawings, specifications, local codes and international best practice.
• Report any works not in accordance with approved drawings and specifications to stakeholders for action.
• Monitor quality of works and assess safety on site, ensuring compliance with contractual/QCS specifications and safety risk assessments.
• Maintain records for daily activities on site including progress photos for inspection.
• Prepare surveillance reports for deficiencies and NCRs as events develop.
• Check and ensure effective coordination between discipline-related works and other disciplines.
• Provide technical input to resolve any discipline-related issues on site.

We envisage success in this role to include;

• Attending to Inspection Requests (IR's) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action in a timely manner.
• Review submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practice.
• Report any works carried out by contractor found to not be in accordance with approved drawing and specifications and report to stakeholdersfor appropriate action.
• Monitor quality of works and assess the safety at site including health and environmental issues, ensuringcompliance withcontractual / QCS specifications andsafety and health risk assessments.
• Maintain records for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are readily available for inspection as and when required.
• Prepare surveillance report(s) for deficiencies of work found at site andnon conformance reports (NCR) if required in view of the development of events.
• Check and ensure effective co-ordination between discipline related works and all other disciplines.
• Provide technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline related issues on site that may arise.

Qualifications
