Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience leading primary design activities in EPC environments (Transmission & Distribution, Power Generation, Energy).
• Strong understanding of IEC, IEEE, ANSI, NEMA, CIGRE standards and SEC regional specs.
• Experience with HV GIS/AIS substations 132kV–400kV+.
• Experience with international teams and project management.
• Willingness to travel globally and work across locations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Professional fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Head up and oversee all engineering activities with QCT delivery.
• Manage design activities, project budget, and design change process.
• Coordinate technical tasks across internal teams, partners, and subcontractors for grid projects.
• Ensure cost-effective, optimized technical solutions meet customer expectations and schedule.
• Accountable for design performance, deadlines, and quality with PMs.
• Oversee end-to-end engineering lifecycle to meet QCT targets.
• Integrate engineering with Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning.
• Lead multidisciplinary design teams to drive technical excellence.
• Manage Design Freeze and scope boundaries among partners.
• Resolve complex interfaces between customer, partners, third parties for system compatibility.
• Maintain control of engineering budget and workload; mitigate risks.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory standards.
