Lucid Motors in King Abdullah Economic City, Saudi Arabia, is seeking an Engineering and Manufacturing Tools Tech Specialist to support expanding manufacturing operations onsite. The role focuses on 3DEXPERIENCE PLM including DELMIA, CATIA, ENOVIA, MBOM/BOP creation and data validation across PLM, MES, and ERP systems.

The candidate should have strong English communication skills, experience with change management in PLM, and the ability to train users in a fast-paced setting.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical leadership and day-to-day customer support for CATIA, DELMIA, ENOVIA and the 3DExperience PLM platform.
• Support and troubleshoot MBOM and BOP for Lucid’s AMP-2 factory.
• Assist AMP-2 manufacturing process planning, BOM creation, resource allocation, and data validation.
• Ensure AMP-2 manufacturing data integration and synchronization between PLM, MES, and ERP systems.
• Support change management processes within PLM to maintain data integrity and traceability.
• Deliver hands-on user support, issue resolution, and system troubleshooting for AMP-2 teams.
• Develop and deliver user training, documentation and support for PLM tools and processes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Lucid Engineering, IT, MES, ERP, ME, NPI and other teams to align PLM with business needs.
• Act as extension of PLM team in a startup-like environment with independence.

Position Overview

The Engineering and Manufacturing Tools Tech Specialist to support our expanding manufacturing operations in King Abdullah Economic City, Saudi Arabia. This is a critical, full-time onsite role requiring hands‑on experience and deep technical expertise in PLM systems, with a focus on Delmia, Catia, and the 3DExperience platform. The ideal candidate will have proficient experience in 3DExperience, DELMIA, CATIA, ENOVIA, change management, Manufacturing Bill of Material (MBOM), Bill of Process (BOP), Resource allocation, MES and ERP data integrations, and overall manufacturing system architecture. The candidate who fills this role will be expected to engage with a wide customer base regarding onsite support, testing, development, documentation and user training.

Ideal candidates shall exhibit a self‑starter and collaborative attitude with an appreciation for learning while approaching their work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, effectively communicate in English with customers, possess the ability to learn quickly, and strive for perfection within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and day‑to‑day customer support for tools related to CATIA, DELMIA, ENOVIA and the 3DExperience PLM platform.
• Support and troubleshoot the Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) and Bill of Process (BOP) for Lucid’s AMP-2 factory.
• Support AMP-2 manufacturing process planning, BOM creation, resource allocation, and data validation using Delmia and related tools.
• Ensure AMP-2 manufacturing data integration and synchronization between Lucid’s PLM, MES, and ERP systems.
• Support the Engineering and Manufacturing change management processes within PLM to maintain data integrity and traceability.
• Deliver hands‑on user support, issue resolution, and system troubleshooting for AMP-2 manufacturing teams.
• Develop and deliver user training, documentation and support for new and existing PLM tools and processes.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Lucid Engineering, IT, MES, ERP, ME, NPI and other manufacturing teams to align PLM capabilities with business needs.
• Act as an extension of the PLM team in a fast‑paced, startup‑like manufacturing setting with the ability to work independently and autonomously.

Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to collaborate in a virtual setting.
• Comfortable engaging across all organizational levels, from executives to working level teams, in the areas of:
  • 3DEXPERIENCE platform
  • CATIA, DELMIA, ENOVIA
  • MBOM/BOP creation and management
  • Manufacturing data validation and integration
• Strong understanding of data flows between PLM, MES, and ERP systems.
• Proven experience with Change Management processes in PLM environments.
• Ability to deliver end‑user support, resolve technical issues, and conduct training sessions.
• Self‑motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a newly established manufacturing site.
• Communication skills in Arabic are a plus.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 2-5 years of experience working with PLM systems within manufacturing environments, automotive preferred.
• Work experience in greenfield or early‑phase manufacturing operations.
• Previous experience working in the automotive industry.
• Work experience in a global or multicultural environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

Hourly/non‑exempt employees accrue up to 120 hours paid time off, and salaried/exempt employee accrue up to 160 hours paid time off.
