Job summary

NANA Regional Corporation is seeking an Engine Technician to perform maintenance on CH-47 aircraft engines and engine subsystems. You will diagnose, repair, and test engine systems, using technical manuals and diagnostic equipment.

You will also train and mentor RSLFAC personnel in engine tasks to ensure readiness and safety. The role requires extensive engine experience, FAA licensing, and the ability to work with maintenance leads and logisticians to ensure timely parts availability and

Qualifications

  • Eight years of experience as an aircraft engine mechanic with at least two within the last five years.
  • Qualified by the appropriate U.S. Government armed forces engine technician course or civilian equivalent training.
  • Proficient in using computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, maintenance forms, and related documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance on CH-47 aircraft engines and engine subsystems.
  • Diagnose and repair engine systems and components following manuals and safety procedures.
  • Supervise/coach RSLFAC personnel in engine tasks and maintain required records.
  • Ensure compliance with maintenance quality controls and daily OR rate goals.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance Lead and Logistics for parts, tools, and support.

Job description

The Engine Technician performs maintenance duties on a CH-47 aircraft

Responsibilities strong Performs unit level aircraft engine maintenance and on engine system subsystem components Performs maintenance on the CH-47 engine using the specific aircraft Operators Manual Maintenance Test Flight Manual aircraft Check List Manual and any customer or specific directives Diagnoses and repairs aircraft engine systems and components malfunction according to the appropriate technical manuals directives and safety procedures Uses common measuring tools necessary for performing the tasks described herein precision measuring tools and alignment fixtures Performs aircraft engine operational checks Tests troubleshoots and repairs aircraft engines using test sets and diagnostic equipment Assists Customer in the requisition and maintenance of shop and bench stock items for repair of aircraft engines Uses and performs operator maintenance on common and special tools AGSE and PGSE Ensures that aircraft engine repair and maintenance activities and procedures among designated organizations are planned coordinated integrated and synchronized to achieve established platform operational readiness OR rates IAW contractual requirements Responsible for the compliance with established maintenance systems processes procedures and reports that provide immediate situational awareness of platform OR rates Establishes daily aircraft engine maintenance operational goals objectives and priorities for implementation in-order to achieve stated OR rates Oversees the daily aircraft engine maintenance management of individually assigned aircraft in support of the Maintenance Lead in conjunction with Logistics for related platform parts and spares Works within the maintenance quality control processes procedures and standards Directs inquires investigations and research analysis related to aviation engine maintenance of the aircraft and supporting maintenance activities to the Maintenance Lead Coordinates activities and requirements for maintenance operations support with the Maintenance Lead In coordination with the PC and Maintenance Lead supports the Downed Aircraft Recovery Team DART processes and procedures Enters data reviews and updates aircraft maintenance forms and records Provides On-the-Job Training OJT coaching and mentoring to RSLFAC personnel in all aspects of engine related tasks as necessary Ensures that all related maintenance operations are conducted in a safe manner Other tasks as directed by the Maintenance Lead

Eight (8) years experience and two (2) within the last five (5) years as an aircraft engine mechanicSuccessfully completed and be qualified by the appropriate U.S. Government armed forces.Engine Technician course or civilian equivalent training.Proficient in the use of computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms or similar aviation maintenance management system, and other aircraft related documentation.Professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner.Possess a valid state or Government issued driver s license.Successfully pass an overseas deployment physical upon hire.Must be a US Citizen.Must have a HS diploma or GED equivalent.Desired Skill Required.CH-47 Engine Technician experience (Lycoming 714A).Associate degree.FAA Powerplant License.
