Job summary

SEDER GROUP in Riyadh is seeking an Electronics Testing & Maintenance Technician to perform testing of components, PCBs, and assemblies against engineering specs. You will use scopes, DMMs, analyzers and diagnostic tools to verify operation and ensure quality.

You will also carry out preventive maintenance, calibration, document results, and assist engineers in prototypes and design modifications, reporting findings to the team.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in electronics testing/maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Test electronic components, PCBs, subassemblies, and systems against specs.
• Use oscilloscopes, DMMs, analyzers and diagnostic tools to verify operation.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

Testing & Inspection:

• Test electronic components, printed circuit boards (PCBs), subassemblies, and completed systems against engineering specs.
• Use diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, and signal analyzers to verify proper operation.
• Perform quality control inspections on raw components and finished products.
• Diagnose root causes of electronic, electrical, and mechanical failures down to the component level.
• Perform surface-mount (SMD) and through-hole soldering, wiring, and harness assembly.
• Repair or replace defective components, microcontrollers, relays, switches, and wiring.

Maintenance & Calibration:

• Carry out preventive maintenance schedules on specialized electronic equipment and laboratory test setups.
• Calibrate instruments and diagnostic tools according to standard procedures and manufacturer guidelines.

Documentation & Technical Support:

• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and engineering documentation.
• Document test results, repair histories, maintenance logs, and component usage in tracking systems.
• Assist electrical engineers in prototype development, testing, and design modifications.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics , or any related field .
• 1-3 experience in the same field .

Technical Skills:

• Hand Tools & Hardware: Proficient with soldering stations, crimpers, wire strippers, heat guns, and precision hand tools.
• Diagnostic Equipment: Oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMM), logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and power supplies.
• Computer Literacy: Familiarity with test automation software, diagnostic utilities, and basic firmware loading/flashing.
