  • Skilled in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults and equipment failures.
  • Familiarity with local electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Ability to use electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Physical fitness to work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
  • Valid electrician license/certification (if required by local regulations).

Responsibilities

  • Reactive and preventive maintenance for LV/MV systems, low current systems, and control panels; provide first response.
  • Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical systems in commercial/industrial facilities.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctions in systems and equipment such as FACP, BMS, UPS, PAVA, pumps and motors.
  • Inspect distribution panels, circuit breakers and lighting fixtures; service as needed.
  • Document maintenance and repair activities in logs and reports.
  • Coordinate with team members to prioritize tasks and close work orders on time.
  • Respond to service requests and emergency callouts with minimal downtime.
  • Assist in installation and commissioning of new electrical systems and equipment.
  • Ensure all work complies with codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Provide guidance to junior technicians and stay updated on industry trends.

Job Description

Overview

The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and wiring in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. They ensure electrical systems operate safely and efficiently while complying with applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.


Your role


  • The Electrician is responsible for reactive and PPM activities for LV/MV systems, Low current systems, and control panels; providing first response; interacting with the reporting supervisor daily; and ensuring compliance with BEC and Client Contractual FMA & FMR.

  • Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, power distribution, and control systems in commercial and industrial facilities.

  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to identify potential issues and ensure the optimal performance of electrical systems.

  • Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions in systems and equipment, such as FACP Panels, BMS System, UPS System, PAVA System, Fan motors, Pumps, Control panels, Lighting Panels,

  • Distribution Panels, Circuit breakers and lighting fixtures.

  • Perform routine cleaning and servicing of electrical components to ensure cleanliness and efficiency.

  • Collaborate with other team members to coordinate and prioritize maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion of work orders.

  • Document all maintenance and repair activities, including equipment status, work performed, and parts used, in maintenance logs and reports.

  • Perform other assigned tasks as requested.

  • Under general supervision, diagnose and repair system malfunctions requiring specific technical knowledge and relevant qualifications, understanding time and material requirements.

  • Seek clarification and technical support when needed and elevate issues as appropriate.

  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to electrical systems.

  • Comply with all safety protocols, regulations, and company policies while performing maintenance tasks.

  • Be familiar with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.

  • Provide guidance and support to junior technicians as needed.

  • Possess knowledge of building automation systems and controls.

  • Follow up with the supervisor to close activities/events on time.

  • Respond promptly to service requests and emergency callouts, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to facility operations.

  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical systems and equipment as required.

  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.


About you

  • 5+ experience as an electrician in residential, commercial, or industrial environments.
