Job summary

The Electrician at Leylaty Group is responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across the company’s food and beverage facilities, hospitality operations, and wedding/event halls in Jeddah. Qualifications

  • Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations.
  • 2–3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in hospitality or event venues.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and diagrams.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair wiring, lighting, panels, switches, sockets and equipment.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance across kitchens, venues, and offices.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out timely repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Inspect systems for safety and compliance with local codes.
  • Maintain emergency lighting and backup power systems.
  • Support electrical requirements for weddings, conferences, and events.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to complete projects.
  • Keep accurate maintenance records and work orders.
  • Respond to emergency requests during operations and events.
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and electrical tools; follow safety procedures.
  • Suggest improvements to improve reliability and energy efficiency.

Job Summary

The Electrician is responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across the company's food and beverage facilities, hospitality operations, and wedding/event hall. The role ensures that all electrical installations operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable regulations and company standards to support uninterrupted business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting systems, power distribution panels, switches, sockets, and electrical equipment.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems in kitchens, restaurants, banquet halls, offices, storage areas, and other facilities.
  • Diagnose electrical faults and carry out timely repairs to minimize operational downtime.
  • Inspect electrical systems regularly to ensure compliance with safety standards and local electrical codes.
  • Maintain and repair emergency lighting systems, backup power systems, and electrical control panels.
  • Support the setup and maintenance of electrical requirements for weddings, conferences, and special events.
  • Coordinate with other maintenance team members to complete repair and improvement projects.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and work orders.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests during business operations and events.
  • Ensure proper use of electrical tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Follow company health, safety, and food safety procedures at all times.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance electrical system reliability and energy efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Valid electrician license or certification (where required by local regulations).
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably within hospitality, food and beverage, hotels, or event venues.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels, motors, lighting, and preventive maintenance.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and technical diagrams.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
  • Basic computer skills for maintenance reporting an advantage.
