Job summary

FashionUnited is seeking a Building Management System technician responsible for monitoring and maintaining the BMS and associated MEP systems under the direction of the Project Manager or Control Engineer. The role involves reading BMS drawings, coordinating with MEP staff and third parties for maintenance, and performing testing and commissioning.

This position is based in Riyadh and requires strict adherence to safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in monitoring and maintenance of BMS/MEP systems.
• Ability to read BMS drawings and site installations.
• Knowledge of AC, electrical, plumbing, and fire alarm systems.

Job description

POSITION OBJECTIVE The position is responsible for monitoring and maintenance of the Building Management System and Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning System under the direction of the Project Manager or Control Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Resolve technical problems and investigate elevated issues by confirming the validity of the problem.
• Basic Knowledge of AC, Electrical, Plumbing & Fire Alarm system particularly of busy commercial Building & Warehouse.
• Knowledge and experience in BMS panel & field device termination work.
• Experience in involving BMS testing & commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with MEP staff & 3rd party for all kind of maintenance activities.
• Able to read BMS drawings based on pipe, duct, containment and all other MEP site installation.
• Conducts frequent site verification if required.
• Recommends changes for improvement in the system, methods and procedures.
• Understand and instruct team for adhering local safety regulation.
