Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Electrical Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical systems within the hotel. This role ensures safe, reliable, and energy‑efficient operation of power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and ELV systems. Working under the Electrical Supervisor, the technician supports preventive maintenance programs and daily electrical operations in accordance with Faena standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain electrical systems under the supervision of the Electrical Supervisor.
  • Assist in preventive maintenance programs for power distribution, lighting, UPS, generators, and ELV systems.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults in panels, transformers, lighting circuits, emergency systems, and BMS‑controlled equipment.
  • Conduct routine inspections and testing to ensure system safety and reliability.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Report major faults, hazards, or irregularities to the Electrical Supervisor promptly.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and availability of electrical tools, materials, and spare parts.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of electrical rooms, plant areas, and service corridors.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout protocols and PPE usage.
  • Support pre‑opening commissioning, testing, and statutory inspections as required.
  • Stay updated on electrical technologies, energy‑efficient solutions, and best practices.
  • Support sustainability initiatives and uphold Faena’s operational and brand standards.

  • Understanding of electrical safety regulations and statutory compliance.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within an engineering team.
  • Relevant electrical trade certification or license preferred.
