Job summary

Al Rugaib Holding Company is seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to join its contracting and construction team in Riyadh. The role focuses on supervising electrical and low-current works on site, coordinating electrical subcontractors, and ensuring installations meet approved designs, specifications, and authority requirements.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, 5–7 years' site experience on building projects, and Saudi Council of Engineers membership,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–7 years of site experience in electrical works for building projects.
• Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting, low-current systems (fire alarm, data, CCTV) and earthing.
• Familiarity with SBC and Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) requirements.
• Experience in testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation of electrical power, lighting and low-current systems.
• Ensure works comply with approved shop drawings, specifications and SEC requirements.
• Coordinate with civil and mechanical teams to resolve interfaces.
• Review electrical material submittals and shop drawings.
• Monitor electrical subcontractors’ progress, manpower and materials.
• Raise inspection requests and attend inspections with QA/QC and the consultant.
• Plan and witness testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Coordinate permanent power connection with SEC.
• Prepare electrical progress reports and as-built documentation.
