Job summary

Larsen & Toubro in Saudi Arabia seeks an ARAMCO-approved EHS Supervisor with oil and gas experience to lead health, safety and environmental compliance on the project site.

Prepare EHS plans, conduct risk assessments, inductions, inspections, and toolbox talks; enforce safe work permits and incident investigations; coordinate with client and main contractors to uphold ISO-45001/14001/9001 standards.

Qualifications

• EHS supervisor with ARAMCO approval and oil & gas experience.

Responsibilities

• Attend EHS meetings with client and project team.
• Report all EHS related issues to HO.
• Provide EHS induction training to new workers.
• Conduct daily EHS inspections for assigned zone.
• Ensure proper safe work permits are taken by Engineers/Supervisors from Clients/MainContractors.
• Conduct risk-assessment throughout site and inform Site Engineers and Clients/MainContractor of high-risk areas.
• Ensure toolbox talks are delivered by Engineers weekly.
• Ensure personnel wear PPE including helmet, EHS shoes, and coveralls.
• Ensure ladders and scaffoldings are in good working condition.
• Ensure health and hygiene conditions for workers including water, rest area, lighting & ventilation.
• Maintain site housekeeping to prevent incidents/accidents.
• Conduct Job EHS Analysis on high risk activities.
• Encourage workers and engineers to implement EHS practices.
• Conduct investigations with engineers in case of incidents/accidents.
• Communicate investigation results to workers and engineers for future precautions.
• Administer first-aid and/or seek medical assistance in case of worker injury.
• Maintain documentation related to EHS activities and coordinate audits and inspections to ISO standards.
• Prepare EHS Plan and Environment Management Plan.
• Coordinate External EHS Audits & Third Party Inspections of Equipment.
• Prepare Emergency Preparedness Plan and Conduct Emergency Drills.
• Facilitate Implementation of Work Permit System.
• Coordinate for Occupational Health & Welfare measures.
• Prepare Conditions of Contract on EHS for Sub-contractors.
• Stop work if unsafe practices are witnessed and promote action-oriented attitude.

Should be an ARAMCO-approved EHS Supervisor with an Oil and Gas experience backgroundPrepare all EHS-related documents (EHS plan, emergency response plan, RA, etc.)

• Attend all EHS meeting with client and project team

• Ensure toolbox talk is properly delivered by Engineers every week for workers to create EHSAwareness
• Ensure all personnel are wearing personal protective equipment including helmet, EHS shoes,and coveralls
• Ensure equipment such as ladders and scaffoldings are in good working conditions prior to beused by workers
• Ensure satisfactory health and hygiene conditions for workers including the availability ofwater, rest area, and adequate lighting & ventilation
• Ensure proper housekeeping on project site to prevent incidents/accidents
• Conduct Job EHS Analysis on high risk activities to minimize hazardous conditions.
• Encourage workers and engineers to implement EHS practices
• Conduct investigations along with engineers in case of minor or major incidents/accidents
• Communicate investigation results to workers and engineers for future precautions
