Job summary

Koch Industries is seeking an EHS Engineer to advance a strong safety and environmental culture across the site in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province. You will partner with plant leadership, supervisors, and employees to identify risks, drive EHS performance, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting a safe, productive manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field.
• NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or equivalent professional EHS qualification.
• Working knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and internationally recognised EHS standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Drive a strong EHS culture by coaching employees and supervisors on safe work practices.
• Partner with leaders to identify, assess, and mitigate workplace hazards and risks.
• Lead incident investigations and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Design and deliver engaging EHS training programmes across the site.
• Support compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and company standards.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and field verifications to improve workplace safety performance.
• Manage critical EHS systems including hazard reporting, incident reporting, and chemical management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements, operational changes, and safety initiatives.
• Support emergency preparedness and response activities when required.
• Promote continuous improvement through data analysis, problem-solving, and risk reduction efforts.
