Job summary

j. awan & partners is seeking a Director, Compliance to oversee CMA regulatory programs and AML/CTF controls across the KSA, reporting to the Executive Director of Operations.

The role includes coordinating regulatory filings, audits, training, and cross-border compliance initiatives. The director will lead on governance, risk management, business development, and staff development, fostering a culture of compliance excellence, and ensuring high standards in client advisory services across

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree from a leading university.
• 10+ years of industry experience.
• 8+ years of direct compliance experience within financial services.
• Experience creating and implementing regulatory compliance programs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate CMA regulatory compliance and governance activities.
• Lead AML/CTF controls, onboarding, CDD/EDD and monitoring.
• Drive business development and client engagement for compliance services.
• Develop and deliver compliance and AML/CTF training for staff and clients.
• Coordinate internal and external audits; strengthen internal controls.
• Maintain documentation and reporting; ensure audit readiness.
• Communicate risks to senior management; build stakeholder relationships.
• Drive continuous improvement of compliance systems and processes.
• Promote JAC culture and support recruitment, training, and retention.
