Job summary

Trigo Group in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Dimensional Engineer to own dimensional analysis within the assigned commodity/shop and coordinate the resolution of dimensional issues during development, production, and launches. Hands-on automotive BIW, closures, stamping, or vehicle dimensional environments are preferred.

You will review GD&T, datum strategy, measurement points, tolerances, fixtures, gauges, and dimensional results; lead cross-functional problem-solving reviews; and create dashboards

Qualifications

• Proven experience in automotive dimensional engineering / dimensional analysis.
• Hands-on experience in BIW / Body in White, closures, stamping, or vehicle dimensional environments.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, datum strategy, tolerances, measurement points, fixtures, and gauges.
• Experience with automotive launch environments and premium OEM launches is valued.

Responsibilities

• Own dimensional analysis for the assigned commodity / shop and coordinate dimensional issue resolution.
• Review GD&T, datum strategy, measurement points, tolerances, fixtures, gauges, and dimensional results.
• Analyze dimensional variation and identify root causes linked to product, process, tooling, fixture, measurement systems, or assembly conditions.
• Lead dimensional problem‑solving reviews with relevant cross‑functional teams.
• Define, track, and maintain action plans through closure.
• Identify dimensional risks, trends, and priorities.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate dimensional status, trends, risks, and priorities.
• Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, tooling, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of dimensional issues.
• Support dimensional performance during production and launch phases.

As part of our automotive activities, we are looking for a Dimensional Engineer to own dimensional analysis within the assigned commodity / shop and coordinate the resolution of dimensional issues.

The role requires hands‑on experience in Automotive BIW (Body in White), Closures, Stamping, or Vehicle Dimensional environments.

Key Responsibilities

Own dimensional analysis for the assigned commodity / shop and coordinate dimensional issue resolution;

Review GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), datum strategy, measurement points, tolerances, build conditions, fixtures, gauges, and dimensional results;

Analyze dimensional variation and identify potential contributors related to product, process, tooling, fixture, measurement system, or assembly conditions;

Lead dimensional problem‑solving reviews with relevant cross‑functional teams;

Define, track, and maintain action plans through closure;

Identify dimensional risks, trends, and priorities;

Create and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate dimensional status, trends, risks, and priorities;

Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, tooling, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of dimensional issues;

Support dimensional performance during production and launch phases.

Qualifications

Proven experience in automotive dimensional engineering / dimensional analysis;

Hands‑on experience in at least one of the following areas:

BIW / Body in White

Closures

Stamping

Vehicle Dimensional

Strong knowledge of GD&T, datum strategy, tolerances, measurement points, fixtures, and gauges;

Ability to analyze dimensional variation and identify root causes linked to product, process, tooling, fixtures, measurement systems, or assembly;

Experience in dimensional problem‑solving and action plan follow‑up;

Ability to create and present technical dashboards and dimensional reports;

Experience in an automotive launch environment is highly valued;

Experience with a premium OEM launch is preferred.
