Job summary

JODAYN is seeking a Digital Solution Engineer to install, configure, and maintain JODAYN solutions in customer environments across Saudi Arabia. You will work with client IT teams and internal engineering to ensure security, stability, and optimal performance while delivering successful implementations.

The ideal candidate has strong Linux administration skills, programming and automation capabilities (Python/Bash), and experience supporting enterprise applications in Linux environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-10 years of experience in system administration, application support, software deployment, or solution engineering.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications in Linux-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain JODAYN solutions in customer environments.
• Manage Linux-based servers, including Ubuntu and RHEL.
• Perform application upgrades, patches, rollback procedures, and version management activities.
• Ensure system availability, performance, and operational stability.
• Implement environment hardening and security best practices.

• Support backup, recovery, and system continuity processes.

Job description

The Digital Solution Engineer is responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrade support of JODAYN solutions within customer environments. The role ensures that deployed solutions remain secure, stable, available, and optimized to meet customer business and technical requirements.

The engineer works closely with internal engineering teams and client IT teams to deliver successful implementations, resolve technical challenges, maintain operational excellence, and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses strong Linux administration skills, programming and automation capabilities, structured troubleshooting expertise, and excellent communication skills.

Solution Deployment & Administration.

• Install, configure, and maintain JODAYN solutions in customer environments.
• Manage Linux-based servers, including Ubuntu and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Perform application upgrades, patches, rollback procedures, and version management activities.
• Ensure system availability, performance, and operational stability.

System Optimization & Security.

• Implement environment hardening and security best practices.
• Monitor and optimize system performance and resource utilization.
• Conduct preventive maintenance activities to improve service reliability.
• Support backup, recovery, and system continuity processes.

Troubleshooting & Incident Resolution.

• Troubleshoot system, application, and integration-related issues.
• Perform structured problem-solving and root cause analysis.
• Analyze logs and diagnostic data to identify and resolve incidents efficiently.
• Escalate complex technical issues when necessary and coordinate resolution activities.
• Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline deployment, diagnostics, monitoring, and operational tasks.
• Support integration requirements through automation and operational tooling.

Documentation & Knowledge Management.

• Create and maintain technical documentation, installation guides, operational procedures, and troubleshooting manuals.
• Support technical workshops, project meetings, and customer engagements.
• Understand customer environments, infrastructure constraints, and operational requirements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of deployment, support, and operational processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• 3-10 years of experience in system administration, application support, software deployment, or solution engineering.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications in Linux-based environments.
• Experience working with customer-facing projects and support activities.

Preferred Skills:

• Python, Bash, or other scripting languages.
• Experience with application integrations and APIs.
• Knowledge of databases and SQL especially, PostgreSQL and MSQL.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
• ITIL certificacte.
