Job summary

siscojobs is seeking a Design Manager in Saudi Arabia to lead the design delivery of large-scale stadium projects. You will coordinate multiple design disciplines, manage consultants, and ensure timely, compliant design outcomes within a PMC framework.

The role requires 15+ years of experience in stadium delivery, strong stakeholder coordination, and the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams through design to construction handover. Saudi-based on-site position with PMC exposure.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant professional experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil/Structural/Construction Engineering or related discipline.
• Postgraduate degree in Construction Management, Project Management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete design lifecycle for large-scale stadium projects from design development through construction delivery.
• Coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, civil, landscape, specialist, and infrastructure design disciplines.
• Review design packages to ensure alignment with project requirements, approved specifications, constructability, programme, and quality objectives.
• Manage design consultants and coordinate technical submissions, approvals, design changes, and interface requirements.
• Represent the PMC team in design coordination meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, authorities, and specialist stakeholders.
• Identify design risks, clashes, technical dependencies, and programme impacts and drive timely resolution.
• Monitor design deliverables against project milestones and escalate critical design or approval issues.
• Provide senior-level design guidance and support effective project delivery across multidisciplinary teams.

We are hiring for the position of Design Manager in Saudi Arabia.

We are seeking a highly experienced professional with strong expertise in stadium project delivery, Project Management Consultancy (PMC), multidisciplinary design management, stakeholder coordination, and end-to-end project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete design lifecycle for large-scale stadium projects from design development through construction delivery.
• Coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, civil, landscape, specialist, and infrastructure design disciplines.
• Review design packages to ensure alignment with project requirements, approved specifications, constructability, programme, and quality objectives.
• Manage design consultants and coordinate technical submissions, approvals, design changes, and interface requirements.
• Represent the PMC team in design coordination meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, authorities, and specialist stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 3. PMC Experience: Demonstrated experience working within a Project Management Consultancy environment on major projects.
• 4. Stakeholder Management: Ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, authorities, operators, and specialist stakeholders.
• 5. Project Delivery: Strong understanding of design programmes, technical risk, constructability, approvals, interfaces, and delivery milestones.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing highly complex multidisciplinary design interfaces.
• Exposure to major international construction or infrastructure programmes.
• Strong design governance, technical review, and reporting capability.

Work Experience Requirements

The position requires 15+ years of relevant professional experience. Candidates must have proven experience delivering stadium projects and working within a PMC environment, with substantial responsibility for stakeholder management and project delivery.

Education Minimum

Typical qualification — Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.

Education Preferred: Typical qualification

Relevant postgraduate degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering Management, or related field.
