Job summary

SITE سايت is seeking a Database Specialist to administer, maintain, monitor, and support organizational databases ensuring availability, performance, security, and data integrity. The role emphasizes backup/recovery, optimization, and operational support within a project-based setting.

The candidate will install and manage database systems, monitor health, troubleshoot incidents, and maintain documentation. A Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in database administration, database support.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and administer database systems.
• Monitor database availability, performance, capacity, and overall health.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents and performance issues.
• Perform database backup, recovery, and restoration activities.
• Support database security, access controls, and user permissions.
