Job summary

Mozn in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Data Scientist I to help build AI-driven solutions for financial crime detection and AML risk management. You will support fraud use cases, perform data cleaning and analysis, and work on Generative AI initiatives under close supervision.

You will develop and test ML and GenAI models, assist with feature engineering and evaluation, and prepare both structured and unstructured data for modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science or related field.
• Basic ML understanding and exposure to Generative AI or LLMs.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with data extraction, cleaning, and basic visualization.
• Familiarity with model evaluation and feature engineering concepts.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support fraud detection, AML and Generative AI use cases.
• Assist in building and testing ML and GenAI models.
• Prepare, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data.
• Support training, evaluation, and deployment of ML models.
• Assist with experimentation using LLMs for document analysis, alert summarization, or data enrichment.
• Execute assigned tasks within project plans under supervision.
• Stay informed about industry trends related to fraud, AML, and Generative AI.
