Location: Riyadh, KSA.
Years of Experience: a minimum of 3 years of experience in data privacy and protection.
Project Duration: 2 years.
Working Arrangement: on-site.
Language Requirements: Fluency in Arabic & English (written and spoken).
Nationalities: Saudi nationals.

We are seeking a Data Privacy Consultant (Saudi National) for a 2-year engagement to support the implementation and monitoring of data privacy and protection practices across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in data privacy and protection, with a solid understanding of the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and international privacy frameworks. This role will play a key part in ensuring regulatory alignment and fostering a culture of privacy by design.

Key Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in data privacy and protection.

Proven experience in implementing privacy controls, managing compliance programs, and conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).

Strong understanding of the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional certifications such as: CIPP (Certified Information Privacy Professional), CIPM (Certified Information Privacy Manager) or other relevant privacy or data protection credentials.
Other Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret legal/regulatory language.
  • Analytical mindset with problem‑solving and process improvement capabilities.

    Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross‑functional teams.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. Privacy Program Support

    Assist in implementing and maintaining the organization’s data privacy and protection program.

    Support the development and enforcement of privacy policies, procedures, and standards.

    2. Compliance Monitoring & DPIAs

    Conduct or support Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and Transfer Impact Assessments (TIAs).

    Monitor ongoing compliance with PDPL and internal data privacy requirements.

    3. Stakeholder Engagement

    Collaborate with legal, IT, HR, and business units to ensure privacy requirements are embedded in processes and systems.

    Support internal awareness initiatives and training on privacy best practices.

    Identify privacy risks and contribute to mitigation planning.

    Assist in managing and documenting data breaches or incidents in coordination with internal teams.

    5. Reporting & Documentation

    Maintain accurate records of processing activities, consent, and access requests.

    Prepare reports and updates for internal privacy governance committees and external regulators as needed.
