Job summary

Saint-Gobain GCC is seeking a Material Engineer in the Medina region to manage orders processing, distribution, and material handling in a structured, compliant environment.

The role requires a B.S. in Civil or Chemical Engineering, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in MS Office. You will collaborate with regional teams, contribute to safety initiatives, and support the quality and efficiency of construction materials workflows.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for orders processing and distribution.
• Arrange product samples for regions, customers and salespeople.
• Act as Fire Marshal for Fire safety per HSE.
• Resolve materials return issues procedurally.
• Prepare and present business reports and presentations.
• Promote excellent service and manage distribution network.

Key Responsibilities:

• To serves as primary contact for the orders processing and goods distribution against all orders of cash the branch’s.
• To arrange product samples for the regions, customers & salespersons.
• To work as a Fire Marshal for Fire safety as appointed by the HSE department.
• To resolve materials return issues in a procedural manner.
• Writes internal/external correspondence.
• Resolve customer non-technical complaints in a timely & professional manner.
• To prepare and present business reports and presentations.
• Promote excellent service & manage all aspects through the distribution network.
• Performs inventory of supplies, coordinate & maintain record of the shipments.
• Answers incoming calls & relays accurate information, processes emails, maintains records, files and review work for accuracy & completeness.

Qualifications:

• B.S Degree in Civil or Chemical Engineering.
• Good Technical knowledge.
• Fluent in writing and speaking English.
• Competent with Microsoft office, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Member of Saudi Council of Engineering.
• Excellent interpersonal and two-way communication skills.
• Numerate with strong analytical skills.
• B.S Degree in Civil or Chemical Engineering.
• At least 2 years as a Material Engineer.
• Attended training in construction material.
• Experience in the construction field.
