Overview
The CRM/ERP Functional Consultant is responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering requirements, and delivering end-to-end functional solutions across CRM and ERP platforms. The role works closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and solution architects to ensure effective system configuration, seamless integrations, and optimized business operations aligned with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and understand business processes, requirements, and pain points across CRM and ERP systems
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and solution designs
- Configure and customize CRM/ERP modules to meet business needs without heavy code customization
- Collaborate with technical teams to support integrations with third-party systems and enterprise applications
- Support data migration, data validation, and master data management activities
- Conduct functional testing, system testing, UAT support, and issue resolution
- Prepare functional design documents, process flows, and user documentation
- Provide functional support during implementation, rollout, and post-go-live phases
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure solution alignment with business objectives
- Support change management, user training, and knowledge transfer activities
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Continuously identify process improvements and system optimization opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 4+ years of hands-on experience as a CRM/ERP Functional Consultant or Business Analyst
- Strong understanding of CRM and ERP business processes (Sales, Service, Finance, Supply Chain, or Operations)
- Experience working with at least one major CRM or ERP platform (Dynamics 365, Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Hands-on experience in system configuration, functional setup, and business rule definition
- Experience supporting system integrations and working with technical development teams
- Strong documentation skills including functional specifications, BRDs, and user stories
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum implementation environments
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
