Job summary

Outdoor Factory MEA in Jizan, Saudi Arabia is seeking a Cost Control Engineer to keep project finances sharp from excavation to opening day. You will develop budgets, track costs, and deliver clear reports to senior management and the client.

The role requires 8 years of site-based cost control experience, strong EVM and forecasting skills, and familiarity with FIDIC. International project experience is a plus, with English required and Arabic a bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 8 years of cost control or project controls experience on site-based projects.
• Experience on family entertainment centers, malls, theme parks, tourism/leisure facilities, or other large-scale building projects (international experience preferred).
• Working knowledge of EVM, cash flow, and forecasting.
• Strong command of FIDIC and contract management.
• Good English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Previous experience in Saudi Arabia is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly cost reports, cash flow projections, and forecasts.
• Compare actual costs against budget, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions before small issues become big ones.
• Track subcontractor and supplier payment certificates, purchase orders, and contract costs.
• Link quantities and progress data to cost, and run Earned Value Management (EVM) analyses.
• Assess the cost impact of variation and change orders.
• Work closely with the planning team to integrate time and cost.
• Deliver clear, confident reporting to senior management and the client.

We are building a family entertainment center in Jizan, and we need a Cost Control Engineer who can keep the project financially sharp from the first excavation to the opening day.
