Job summary

Neway Valve is seeking a Finance/Cost Accountant to join our SPARK location in Dammam. The role focuses on SAP-based accounting, cost analysis, and compliance with IFRS and Saudi VAT/ZATCA.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, assist with audits, manage banking operations, and ensure accurate financial reporting. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 2+ years in manufacturing cost accounting, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with IFRS knowledge.
• Fluent spoken English.
• Knowledge of IFRS, Saudi VAT and ZATCA regulations.
• Experience with online corporate banking and bank reconciliation.
• Minimum 2 years cost accounting experience in manufacturing with standard costing.
• Proficient in MS Office; SAP experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

1. Process and review accounting entries in SAP.
2. Prepare financial and cost analysis reports.
3. Participate in periodic inventory and asset counts; monitor inventory turnover.
4. Support external audits (headquarters/local) and provide required internal/external documentation.
5. Ensure compliance with IFRS principles and Saudi VAT and ZATCA regulations.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional and management teams.
7. Manage daily company banking activities and coordination with banks
8. Process bank transfers, deposits, government payments, and other banking transactions.
9. Ability to handle and execute financial tasks accurately and efficiently within short notice
10. Other tasks assigned by the HQ Finance Department.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; familiar with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
2. Fluent spoken English.
3. Knowledge of IFRS principles and Saudi VAT and ZATCA regulations.
4. Experience with online corporate banking and bank reconciliation.
5. Minimum of 2 years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing enterprises, knowledge of standard costing systems.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
7. SAP experience preferred.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a supportive and cooperative approach.
