Construction Manager / Resident Engineer - Medical

Our client is an international project management company involved in several large medical projects. They are looking for a construction manager with experience in client‑side project management to oversee the construction of the facilities. The role involves multiple individual hospital projects and site‑based project engineering.

Responsibilities

• Report to a senior construction manager and manage and implement all aspects of the Quality and HSE management systems, controlling site supervision.
• Supervise work to ensure compliance with contract documents.
• Review all project‑related correspondence, submittals, instructions, technical queries and establish lines of communication with contractors.
• Review and monitor contractors' quality systems, procedures and implementation across the project site.
• Review and monitor contractors' safety systems, procedures and implementation across the project site.

Qualifications

• At least 15 years of experience.
• Major experience in Western countries with some experience in the Gulf region.
• Medical project experience highly beneficial.
• Site or project management experience with consultants or project management companies.
• Degree qualified.
• Knowledge of project scheduling and cost control with experience in MP, P3 or P6.
• Excellent command of English (very good) and Arabic (fluent/excellent).

• Must own a car.
• Must have a driving licence.
