AtkinsRéalis in Umluj, KSA seeks a Degree-qualified Construction Director with extensive experience in high-end hotels, residential and mixed-use developments. The role requires leading large, multi-disc discipline site teams within KSA and delivering projects to time, cost and quality.

You will oversee a multi-functional PMC team, manage client and government interfaces, ensure safety standards, and drive opportunities for the Group while upholding AtkinsRéalis reputation.

Qualifications

• Qualified professional at Director Level capable of planning, leadership, direction and technical expertise for complex tasks.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• Chartered status is preferable.
• 20+ years experience with 7+ years on similar projects.

AtkinsRealis are currently looking for a degree qualified Construction Director in Umluj, KSA with significant experience in high end hotels, residential and mixed use developments. This person must be forward thinking and experienced in running large, multi-disciplined site teams within KSA.

Principle Activities

• Manage a multi functional PMC team responsible for delivering a large number of varied mixed use, residential, and hotel projects in accordance with the Client's requirements.
• Manage key stakeholder interfaces which will include all departments within the Client organisation as well as other government departments.
• Overall construction management and control.
• Monitor contractors for compliance with their contractual responsibilities.
• Monitor progress of the construction for compliance with schedule.
• Ensure delivery of projects to time, cost and quality and ensuring highest standards of Health & Safety are achieved.
• Ensure resources are appropriate to meet current and future commitments and to maximise opportunities.
• Must be forward thinking and experienced in running large, multi-disciplined site teams.

Requirements

The Construction Director will be a qualified professional who is currently working at Director Level and is capable of providing planning, leadership, direction and technical expertise to manage complex tasks and multidisciplinary projects. They must have a minimum qualification BSc, BEng, BA or equivalent, have Chartered status and more than 20 years experience with 7 years being similar to this project/role.

The Construction Director will also be responsible for maintaining and enhancing AtkinsRealis reputation with our clients and developing effective long term client relationships thus identifying and developing new opportunities for the Group.

• A qualified professional who is currently working at Director Level and is capable of providing planning, leadership, direction and technical expertise to manage complex tasks and multidisciplinary projects.
• Bachelor'S or Master's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Chartered status is preferrable.
• 20 years+ experience with 7 years being similar to this project/role.
• Experience with large scale construction operations, management of multiple contracts, particularly luxury hotels, residential and mixed use developments.
• Highly articulate, experienced in reporting and communication to senior executives.
• They will also be responsible for maintaining and enhancing AtkinsRealis reputation with our Clients and developing effective long-term Client relationships thus identifying and developing new opportunities for the Group.
• Excellent knowledge of construction techniques as well project controls procedures, quality and health & safety
• A \"rounded profile\", comfortable with planning, analysis and managing process and commercial considerations. The successful candidate will also be able to mobilise people and teams and drive for a successful delivery.
• Effective in building good working relationships within complex structures both within projects, with Clients and internally.
