Job summary

KBR, Inc. seeks a Construction & Commissioning Engineer for Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, to lead and coordinate construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities on oil & gas, petrochemical, and industrial facilities.

Candidates should have extensive Saudi Aramco project experience and strong coordination with multiple teams. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline and a minimum of 10 years in the sector, with emphasis on handover and turnover

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, instrumentation, or related engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate construction activities in compliance with project specifications, Saudi Aramco standards, quality requirements, and HSE regulations.
• Monitor site progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure timely project execution.
• Coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, HSE, Vendors, and Construction teams to achieve project objectives.
• Manage Mechanical Completion, Punch List closure, System Turnover, and handover documentation.
• Execute pre-commissioning activities including flushing, pressure testing, loop checking, and functional testing.
• Lead commissioning and start-up activities for process, utility, and support systems.
• Support troubleshooting, performance testing, and final handover to Operations.
• Prepare commissioning reports, test records, and project close-out documentation.

Construction & Commissioning Engineers with refinery and petrochemical startup/commissioning experience. Preference should be given to candidates from the Western Region, as the work location will Yanbu.

Job Description

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Instrumentation, or related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Industrial projects.
• Mandatory: Saudi Aramco project experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, and system handover activities.
• Supervise and coordinate construction activities in compliance with project specifications, Saudi Aramco standards, quality requirements, and HSE regulations.
