Job summary

Penspen Ltd in Khafji, Saudi Arabia is seeking a Commissioning Manager to lead electrical commissioning for major Oil & Gas/Petrochemical projects. The role requires seniority in offshore commissioning, with emphasis on planning, handover, and safe operation.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s or Diploma in Engineering with extensive commissioning experience; ARAMCO project exposure is a plus. The position is based in Khafji, with strict HS&E adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 18 years’ experience, 10 in commissioning for major Oil & Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• Diploma in Engineering with 22 years’ experience, 14 in commissioning for major Oil & Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• Experience in offshore projects including commissioning, operation and start-up.
• AROMCO experience is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the electrical scope such as cable sizing, load calculations, switchgear for major Oil & Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• Lead commissioning planning process to ensure systems are mechanically completed and handed over fully commissioned, ready to operate per design intent while maintaining HS&E rules.

Responsibilities

A Senior Electrical Engineer will oversee the electrical scope such as cable sizing, load calculations, switchgear, and offshore or onshore power distribution for major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent closely related field with eighteen (18) years of experience; ten (10) years of which within the field of Commissioning for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects. Able to provide leadership in the development of the commissioning planning process and ensure the systems are mechanically completed, handed over fully commissioned, and ready to operate as per approved design intent without compromising HS&E rules.

OR

• Diploma in Engineering or equivalent closely related field with twenty-two (22) years of experience; fourteen (14) years of which within the field of Commissioning for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects. Able to provide leadership in the development of the commissioning planning process and ensure the systems are mechanically completed, handed over fully commissioned, and ready to operate as per approved design intent without compromising HS&E rules.

• Candidate should have experience in offshore projects with commissioning, operation and start up experience.
• Previous experience in ARAMCO project is an added advantage.
