Job summary

ABIS in Riyadh is seeking a QC Inspector – Coating to perform inspection and testing of surface preparation and protective coating activities to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of experience in coating/painting inspections, a diploma or bachelor's in mechanical or civil engineering, and preferably a NACE Level II certification. You will record results, support ITPs, and coordinate with clients and third-party inspectors.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience as a QC Inspector on coating/painting projects.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering.
• NACE Level II certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections on surface preparation and coating/painting works.
• Verify surface preparation against specifications (SSPC/NACE).
• Witness coating application, DFT/WFT checks, holiday testing, and adhesion tests.
• Record inspection results and raise Non-Conformance Reports as required.
• Coordinate hold points and inspections with client/third-party inspectors.
• Maintain inspection records, checklists, and daily QC reports.
• Verify calibration status of measuring and test equipment.
