Job summary

Euro Group Engineering Consultancy seeks an experienced Oil Spill Cleanup Consultant to provide technical leadership for spill response and coastal remediation. The consultant will assess environmental impacts, develop response plans and supervise remediation activities.

They will coordinate with authorities and stakeholders, review technical deliverables, and ensure safe, compliant operations. Strong writing, field leadership and ability to travel to coastal sites are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, Marine or Environmental Engineering; postgraduate degree preferred.
• Recognized oil spill response / incident management training and HSE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess environmental impacts of oil spills on coastal sites.
• Develop and review oil spill response and remediation plans.
• Lead remediation operations and supervise field activities.
• Coordinate with clients, regulators and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with standards and HSSE requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, cost estimates and briefings.
• Advise on equipment selection and contractor performance.
• Document lessons learned and support preparedness programs.
