Job summary
Finstockevarsity in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, seeks a highly skilled Pharmacist/Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to join a leading hospital group. The role involves clinical ward rounds, pharmacotherapy recommendations, antimicrobial stewardship, and supervising the pharmacy team.
The candidate will ensure safe, cost-effective medication therapy, provide education to staff, and ensure compliance with SCFHS regulations and hospital protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on clinical/hospital pharmacy experience.
- Eligibility for SCFHS licensure.
- Postgraduate MSc in Clinical Pharmacy or a relevant specialty.
- Experience in ICU, Oncology, or Cardiology.
Responsibilities
- Participate in clinical ward rounds with pharmacotherapy recommendations.
- Conduct comprehensive medication reviews and manage complex regimens.
- Lead antimicrobial stewardship programs.
- Provide accurate dispensing and supervise pharmacy staff.
- Counsel patients on safe and effective medication use.
- Engage in drug utilization reviews and clinical audits.
- Develop and implement SOPs and pharmacy policies.
- Educate pharmacy staff, nurses and junior doctors.
- Ensure compliance with SCFHS regulations and hospital protocols.
