Job summary

CACEIS Malaysia, a centre of excellence in asset servicing within the Crédit Agricole group, seeks a Client Operations Officer in Custody Services to ensure accurate, timely settlement of securities and close coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

You will perform trade repairs, investigate settlement issues, and uphold strict operating procedures, with daily hours 9am–6pm MYT and a focus on service quality for institutional clients in Europe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in custody/settlements is a plus.
• Strong English communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Extract reports and investigate trade settlement issues for solution
• Monitor system queue on specific trade statuses
• Perform trade repair in core system to allow accurate and timely trade settlement according to market deadlines
• Follow up on all trade issues until complete resolution
• Ensure queries received are resolved in timely manner; follow up diligently
• Escalate operational issues per local escalation protocol
• Ensure all instructions are processed following operating procedures

The Client Operations Officer of Settlements team in the Custody is responsible for processing and reporting with accurate and timely settlement of securities transactions. This role involves managing daily operations, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Client Operations Officer will perform trade repairs, investigate settlement issue for solution, and maintaining high standards of service delivery to clients. This position requires good knowledge in Custody product across a range of processes in Settlements, attention to detail, and strict adherence to all processes stipulated in our operating procedures. The officer is expected to resolve problems independently guided by procedure and factual information.

Working hours: 9am to 6pm MYT
