Job summary

Egis is seeking a detail-oriented Civil Inspector to join its Riyadh site supervision team. You will conduct comprehensive inspections, verify compliance with approved plans, codes, and Saudi standards, and document findings with reports, photos, and records.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, 10+ years in civil construction inspection and strong knowledge of quality assurance, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in civil construction site inspection and supervision.
• Strong knowledge of construction standards, building codes, and quality assurance practices.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian building regulations and construction standards.
• Proficiency in report writing and technical documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Proficient communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Experience with construction management software and digital documentation tools.
• Solid understanding of construction materials, methods, and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions on-site.
• Physical capability to conduct regular site inspections and walk construction areas.
• Professional demeanor and ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and elevate issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites to verify compliance with approved plans, building codes, and Saudi Arabian construction standards.
• Monitor construction activities and workmanship quality to ensure adherence to project specifications and industry best practices.
• Document inspection findings through detailed reports, photographs, and site records.
• Identify and report any deviations, defects, or safety hazards to project management and relevant stakeholders.
• Verify that materials, equipment, and labor meet project requirements and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to resolve construction issues and discrepancies.
• Maintain organized records of all inspections, test results, and corrective actions.
• Perform quality assurance checks at various construction stages, from foundation to completion.
• Communicate inspection results and recommendations in a clear and professional manner.
• Assist in resolving disputes related to construction quality and specification compliance.

About the Role
