Responsibilities

• Participates in implementing Operations and Maintenance unit policies and procedures to meet procedural/legislative requirements.

• Contributes to the preparation of the unit budget and ensures activities are implemented within the budget.
• Supervises subordinates to ensure efficient work within a defined area of the unit activity.
• Manages implementation of complex plans and completion of tasks/projects to support unit objectives.
• Provides technical advice and oversight in the field of specialty and participates in contingency planning.
• Acts as technical reference for all operations teams in process management.
• Conducts process management and optimization studies to enhance quality and reduce cost.

Job Description

The jobs in this level are responsible for performing complex assignments often requiring development of new improved products, processes or techniques mainly concerned with production/ Maintenance planning and management ,act as a technical reference and coordinate with other sections to ensure compliance to operation standards.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the implementation of Operations and Maintenance unit policies, and procedures to ensure all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled.
• Supervises the day to day operations of Operations and Maintenance department providing some guidance in facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards.
• Contributes to the preparation of the Operations and Maintenance unit budget and ensures that the activities within this unit is implemented processed as per the assigned budget.
• Supervises the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of the Operations and Maintenance unit activity is carried out in an efficient manner.
• Manages the implementation complex plans , ensuring the completion of the necessary tasks/projects and support achieving the unit objectives.
• Provides technical advise, guidance and oversight in the field of specialty in a defined operational area and participate in preparing contingency plans to ensure the credibility of systems and process.
• Acts as technical reference for all operations team in the process management in the operations.
• Conducts process management and optimization studies to enhance quality / cost and minimize process faults and variances.
