Job summary

Euro Group Engineering Consultancy in Al Qassim is urgently seeking a Chief Road Safety Engineer to lead road safety operations, compliance, and audit activities for major infrastructure projects. The role requires deep expertise in road safety engineering and familiarity with MOT / MOTLS standards.

You will oversee design, construction, and operations to ensure MOTLS requirements are met, supervise contractors, and coordinate with stakeholders and government entities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in road safety, traffic engineering, or transportation engineering.
• B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Traffic & Transportation Engineering, or equivalent.
• Prior experience with MOT / MOTLS standards preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MOTLS road safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience supervising contractors to ensure adherence to MOTLS standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead road safety engineering activities across projects in Al Qassim
• Conduct Road Safety Audits (RSA) for design, construction, and operational phases
• Review and approve Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) and road safety improvement proposals
• Ensure full compliance with MOTLS regulations, guidelines, and safety frameworks
• Supervise contractors to ensure adherence to MOTLS road safety standards
• Identify risks, propose mitigation measures, and monitor implementation effectiveness
• Prepare detailed technical reports, safety assessments, and compliance documentation
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and government entities
• Mentor and support junior engineers and road safety inspectors

The role requires deep expertise in road safety engineering and strong familiarity with MOT / MOTLS standards, regulations, and compliance frameworks.

Role Overview

The Chief Road Safety Engineer will oversee all road safety engineering functions, ensuring that project designs, construction activities, and operational phases fully comply with MOTLS road safety requirements. The role involves leading audits, reviewing safety plans, and coordinating with contractors and stakeholders to uphold MOTLS standards across all project stages.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead road safety engineering activities across all assigned projects in Al Qassim
• Conduct Road Safety Audits (RSA) for design, construction, and operational phases
