Job description

A strong insurance company based in Saudi Arabia is looking for a highly experienced Chief Investment Officer.

The successful incumbent can be currently based globally but must be willing to relocate to Saudi Arabia and to be based there for the role.

The successful candidate will come from the following experience:

• A solid track record of investment management on the buy side, across multiple asset classes, with a focus on investment funds and private credit funds also as an advantage.
• Extensive experience in portfolio management, investment analysis, report writing, investment strategy, and stakeholder relationship management.
• Strong experience in asset-liability management (ALM), aligning investment strategy with the liquidity needs and regulatory capital requirements of a balance sheet carrying long-term liabilities.
• Solid experience in overseeing all investment activities, including strategic asset allocation, portfolio management, and investment planning.
• Ability to strategically review and propose investment strategies to maximize returns, and to participate in developing finance and portfolio management goals.
• Experience providing investment guidance for key projects and initiatives, engaging in investor-related activities, and acting as a consultant for subsidiaries' major projects.
• Good having regional experience having been based in Saudi Arabia, but not essential.
