A government entity in Riyadh is looking for a Chief Investment Officer to lead investment activities. Responsibilities include developing long-term investment strategies, overseeing portfolio managers, and ensuring effective deployment of capital across various asset classes such as equities and real estate. Ideal candidates will have an MBA or Master's in Finance, a CFA designation, and significant experience in investment management. This leadership role requires both hard skills in financial modeling and soft skills in team management.
The Chief Investment Officer provides the vision and leadership for all investment activities. You will be responsible for developing long-term investment policies, overseeing a team of portfolio managers or external advisors, and ensuring that the organization's capital is deployed effectively across various asset classes (e.g., equities, fixed income, real estate, and private equity).
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Mathematics. MBA or Master’s in Finance is highly preferred.
CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) is typically a mandatory requirement. CAIA or FRM is a plus.
12–15+ years in investment management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Advanced financial modeling, quantitative analysis, and proficiency with tools like Bloomberg or FactSet.
High emotional intelligence, decisive leadership, and the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-experts.
