Job summary

CATRION in Riyadh requires a dedicated team member to provide guest-focused food and beverage service across meal, counter, and cafeteria areas. You will ensure spaces are ready, assist with service, and maintain excellent product knowledge including allergens.

You must handle cash accurately and uphold high hygiene and cybersecurity standards. Daily duties include displaying items, upselling to customers, coordinating with stores and production for timely delivery, and reporting any issues

Responsibilities

• Ensure that meal services, sales counter, cafeteria areas are ready for service at designated locations.
• Provide welcoming, responsive, friendly, and courteous service to guests.
• Arrange and display foods & beverages as needed.
• Assist in the service of food and beverage at respective areas.
• Maintain good menu knowledge including allergens/ingredients.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately and securely.
• Manage cash turnover per shift and reconcile discrepancies.
• Suggest strategies to meet daily sales targets and upsell to customers.
• Monitor stock, reduce wastage, and perform regular stock takes.
• Coordinate with stores and production for timely delivery of products and food items.
• Build strong customer relations with knowledge of the establishment and staff.
• Report equipment defects, maintenance needs, accidents, incidents, injuries, and customer complaints promptly.
• Attend client and company trainings and participate in safety initiatives.
• Maintain hygienic work practices and personal hygiene standards as required.
• Participate in daily site meetings, briefings, trainings, and other required activities.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned and compliant with Saudi Labor Law.
• Adhere to cybersecurity policies, protect data according to classification, and comply with IP laws.
• Access company information and assets only for business purposes and obtain required permits for sensitive sites.

Job description

• Ensure that the respective areas - meal services, sales counter, cafeteria are ready for service at designated locations as per the assigned duty.
• Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service always.
• Arrange and display foods & beverage items as needed.
• Assists in the service of food and beverage at the respective areas.
• Ensure good menu knowledge but not limited to allergens/ingredients.
• Responsible for the accurate cash register machine transaction without deviation.
• Ensure proper turnover of cash sales for each shift period.
• Recommending strategy to meet the target sales of the day and always eager to upsell to the customer.
• Monitor the non-moving products to avoid wastage and maintain stock taking and inventory.
• Coordinate with stores and production to achieve timely delivery of products and food items, respectively.
• Maintain customer relations by having a thorough knowledge of the establishment, facilities, and personnel.
• To report any equipment defects, maintenance requirements that will hamper the expected level of service.
• Report all accidents, incidents, and any injuries as well as any customer complaints immediately.
• Attending Client and Company training courses as deemed necessary, fully support, and participate in all Client and Company safety initiatives.
• Ensure work is always conducted hygienically and safe work practices are followed.
• Ensure the personal working hygiene standards meet both the company and statutory requirements.
• Attended daily site meetings, briefing, trainings, meetings as and when required.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
• Perform other duties related to the job and/or the operation of the company, in accordance with the regulations of the Saudi Labor of Law.
• Adherence to Cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Dealing with data and information according to their level of classification.
• Avoid violating the rights of any person or company protected by copyrights, patents, or any other intellectual property, or similar laws or regulations.
• Compliance with Cybersecurity requirements related to the protection of user devices, Internet, software, systems, and Email requirements.
• Adhere to the acceptable use policy and Using CATRION information and technical assets only for business purposes.
• Obtaining the required permit from the security department or the owner of the authority in CATRION before hosting visitors to the company's specific sensitive sites.
• Reporting Cybersecurity incidents.
