Job summary

A leading food and beverage manufacturer in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Category Marketing Manager for its Bakery Business unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the growth of the category in the GCC region. Applicants should have extensive marketing experience, preferably in FMCG and a proven track record in brand management, product launches, and strategic planning. Qualifications

  • At least 15 years of total experience, with at least 9 years in marketing or brand management.
  • Experience in FMCG, particularly in bakery or confectionery categories is preferred.
  • Strong skills in New Product Development and Strategic Planning required.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Category Marketing Manager to join our Bakery Business unit. The successful candidate will lead the development and growth of the designated category in the GCC, encompassing both existing and new product development by establishing the strategic vision and leading the organisation to realise the 5 year plan through annual marketing planning and delivery of the company’s overall goals and objectives. Identifying attractive new market segment opportunities, maintaining a strong innovation pipeline and developing high performance team.

Candidates with Marketing – background in confectionery, 7Day or similar categories will be highly preferred.

Qualifications
  • University / College Degree in Marketing or Business-related subject
  • Have at least 15 years of total experience with at least 9 years marketing and/or brand management experience with a reputable FMCG company, bakery, confectionery, ice cream or chocolates categories preferred
  • Excellent Category Management Strategy knowledge and skills
  • Building Brands, Launching New Products, Marketing, Brand Planning and Operational Planning, New Product Development skills, Pricing Strategy, and management skills
