Job summary

Saudi Gold Refinery SGR in Riyadh seeks a Feasibility Manager to lead economic and technical evaluations of capital projects across downstream operations. You will validate investment cases for mining expansions, laboratory upgrades, and bullion production enhancements through rigorous financial modeling and technical analysis.

The role requires coordinating with engineering and finance to ensure regulatory compliance with MIM and internal governance, shaping the company’s capital allocation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in feasibility studies, project evaluation, or corporate development within the mining or metals sectors.
• Proven expertise in building complex financial models using Excel, including DCF, NPV, IRR, and sensitivity analysis techniques.
• Demonstrated understanding of downstream precious metals processing, including refining, assaying, and bullion production workflows.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and coordinating inputs from engineering, HSE, and commercial departments.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi industrial regulations, including environmental permitting and local content requirements.
• Ability to interpret technical engineering drawings and process flow diagrams to validate cost and throughput assumptions.
• Fluency in English is required for professional writing and presentation to international stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead economic and technical evaluation of capital projects across downstream operations.
• Develop detailed discounted cash flow models to assess investments; conduct sensitivity analyses on key variables.
• Validate throughput assumptions with process engineers; review equipment specs to ensure capex reflects pricing.
• Ensure feasibility studies include environmental permits and emissions monitoring; integrate local content requirements into cost projections.
• Facilitate weekly cross-functional working groups with engineering and finance to resolve data gaps.
• Identify and quantify project risks; prepare executive presentations with financial implications.
• Document assumptions and data sources for transparency and auditability; adhere to governance policies.
