Job summary

El Seif Operation and Maintenance is seeking an experienced Planner – CAFM to support facilities management operations with maintenance planning, resource coordination, asset management, and CAFM/CMMS utilization.

The role ensures maintenance activities, manpower, tools, work orders, PM schedules, and asset records are planned, monitored, and coordinated to deliver reliable FM performance. Strong MAXIMO/SAP skills and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on CAFM/CMMS experience.
Strong knowledge of MAXIMO, SAP, or equivalent platforms.
Experience in Facilities Management or Maintenance Operations.
Proven ability to analyze data and prepare reports.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Excellent English written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain annual, monthly, weekly, and daily maintenance plans and schedules.
Review planned preventive maintenance activities, manpower, tools, and required spare parts.
Prepare daily schedules and coordinate the allocation of manpower, equipment, and resources.
Review, prioritize, and reschedule critical PM activities when required.
Coordinate with maintenance teams and the Help Desk to schedule, assign, monitor, and close work orders.
Ensure maintenance history, work-order information, and asset records are accurately captured within CAFM/CMMS.
Monitor maintenance schedules and recommend adjustments to improve operational efficiency.
Analyze CAFM data to identify trends, recurring issues, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare professional reports covering maintenance performance, system utilization, KPIs, work orders, asset performance, and operational metrics.
Track and manage facility assets, equipment, machinery, and associated records.
Support preventive maintenance planning to improve asset reliability and extend equipment lifecycle.
Maintain accurate CAFM databases, equipment records, asset information, and related facility data.
Monitor work-order priorities and ensure activities are completed according to urgency, requirements, and schedules.
Coordinate with internal departments, project teams, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders regarding facility requirements.
Recommend improvements that enhance productivity, optimize resource utilization, reduce waste, and support cost efficiency.
Provide guidance and support to CAFM system users and assist with system‑related best practices.
Support staff training related to CAFM processes, system utilization, and facilities management practices.
Monitor relevant operational costs and identify opportunities for improved efficiency and cost savings.
