Job summary

Talents Sea | تالنتس سي in Jeddah is seeking an experienced CAD Drafting Technician to produce accurate 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and SketchUp. You will collaborate with engineers and project teams to deliver shop drawings, SLDs, and construction drawings on time and to standard.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in CAD drafting, a diploma or bachelor's in a related field, and strong English proficiency to coordinate across teams and ensure compliance with project specs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with engineers, architects, site teams, and other stakeholders to ensure timely drawing updates.
• Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.

Role Overview

You will prepare accurate technical drawings, layouts, and detailed plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project teams to develop drawings that meet project specifications, standards, and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop 3D models and project visualizations using SketchUp.
• Prepare single-line diagrams (SLDs), shop drawings, and detailed construction drawings.
• Prepare as-built drawings and update drawings based on actual site conditions.
• Develop detailed drawings, layouts, plans, sections, and elevations based on engineering and architectural requirements.
• Revise drawings in accordance with project changes, design updates, and technical comments.
• Ensure drawings comply with company standards, project specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
• Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, materials, annotations, and technical details.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, site teams, and other project stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely drawing updates.
• Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
• Ensure drawings are clear, accurate, and submission-ready.
• Complete drafting tasks within project deadlines while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and quality.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Drafting, Architectural Technology, Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings, dimensions, scales, and drafting standards.
• Advanced English proficiency

Required Experience

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in CAD drafting.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in solar PV, electrical, or construction projects.
