Job summary

robusta is seeking a seasoned Business Architect to define and maintain business architecture across banking environments. You will align business strategy, capabilities, processes, operating models, and enterprise architecture while supporting transformation initiatives and governance aligned with SAMA requirements.

This role requires 10+ years in related fields, a solid background in business capability mapping, and strong communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Business Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or related roles.
• Experience in banking or financial services is preferred.
• Experience in a SAMA-regulated environment is an advantage.
• Strong capabilities mapping and modeling skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• TOGAF, BIZBOK, CBAP, or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain Business Architecture models, standards, and documentation.
• Define business capabilities and maps.
• Develop current-state (baseline) and target-state Business Architecture.
• Conduct gap and impact analysis between current and target states.
• Translate business strategy and objectives into business capabilities and architectural requirements.
• Map key business processes, value streams, and operating models.
• Ensure business requirements are aligned with Enterprise Architecture.
• Assess the business impact of proposed technology and transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, enterprise architects, and technology teams.
• Support transformation initiatives and business capability roadmaps.
• Identify business, process, capability, and technology dependencies and impacts.
• Participate in architecture governance, reviews, and approval processes.
