Job summary

A technology services company in Jeddah is seeking a Business Analyst to support technology projects by gathering and documenting business requirements. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 1-3 years of experience in similar roles. Key responsibilities include collecting and analyzing requirements, documenting them for technical teams, and ensuring stakeholder alignment throughout project lifecycle. Candidates with knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies will be preferred.

Qualifications

Support technology projects by gathering and documenting business requirements, analyzing processes, and translating business needs into clear specifications for technical teams. Ensure alignment between stakeholders, solution design, and delivered outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst (or similar role) in technology/digital projects.
  • Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Technical & Tools

  • Jira / Confluence (or similar tools).
  • BPMN / process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of APIs, databases, and integrations.
  • Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze business requirements through workshops, interviews, and document reviews.
  • Document requirements as BRD/FRD, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
  • Map current and future processes (AS-IS / TO-BE) and identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Support backlog management: prioritization, refinement sessions, and traceability of requirements.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, QA, UX, and project managers to ensure clarity and alignment.
  • Support testing and UAT: prepare test scenarios, validate outcomes, and manage defect clarifications.
  • Prepare project documentation and reports (status updates, risk/issue logs, change requests).
  • Assist in change management activities (stakeholder communication, training support, and documentation).
  • Support business case development by gathering inputs (scope, benefits, costs, assumptions), assisting in ROI / cost-benefit analysis, and preparing recommendations for stakeholders.
