AtkinsRéalis are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BMS/SCADA Engineer in Riyadh, KSA to oversee the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Building Management Systems (BMS) and SCADA systems for large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with automation systems, control panels, and integration of HVAC, lighting, fire safety, and other building services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and review BMS/SCADA system architecture and control strategies.
• Coordinate with MEP, electrical, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
• Supervise installation and commissioning of BMS/SCADA systems on-site.
• Develop and test control logic, graphics, and alarms.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues during commissioning and operation.
• Prepare technical documentation including schematics, wiring diagrams, and O&M manuals.
• Liaise with vendors and subcontractors for system components and software.
• Provide training and support to facility management teams post-handover.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering field.
• 10+ years of experience in BMS/SCADA engineering within construction or infrastructure projects.
• KSA project experience is mandatory.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in SCADA platforms (e.g., Siemens, Schneider, Honeywell, Tridium Niagara).
• Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, and other communication protocols.
• Experience with PLC programming and HMI development.
• Familiarity with HVAC, lighting, fire alarm, and energy management systems.
• Understanding of networking and cybersecurity principles for control systems.
