Job summary

CROWN Arabia Can Company Ltd is seeking an experienced Back End LSM Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair can-making machinery, focusing on Lid and Shell Making lines to ensure efficiency and product quality.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic issues, part replacements, calibrations, CMMS logging, and collaboration with operators. Rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in maintenance of high-speed manufacturing machinery.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics and manuals.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and precision instruments.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on Back End LSM machinery (presses, slitters, lining machines, conveyors).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime.
• Repair, overhaul and replace worn parts (bearings, gears, belts, seals).
• Adjust and calibrate equipment to meet product specs and quality standards.
• Use schematics, blueprints and manuals for troubleshooting and repair.
• Document maintenance activities in CMMS and follow GMPs and safety policies.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new LSM equipment as required.
