Job Description

Comply with all Aviation, Safety, Quality and Export Control Regulations and Procedures.

Comply with all Airbus Helicopters Management Systems, Policies and Regulations.

Work as part of a team; specific duties will include the satisfactory performance of both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of the helicopter fleet, within a customer environment.

• Undertake individually or as part of the team, aircraft maintenance, repair and inspection tasks, quality checks, and completion of documentation in accordance with Company and Customer procedures.
• Check before starting any maintenance activity tools/GSEs for condition and expiration date, and ensure their correct use.
• Check components and parts for conditions (damages, leaks, etc.) before starting maintenance, ensuring the applicability of the documentation is correct.
• Perform electrical assembly, integration and modification, system repairs, first‑level quality inspection and functional tests of aircraft and components.
• Analyze performance and isolate malfunctions of integrated avionic instrument and flight control systems.
• Conduct checkouts of avionic instruments and flight control systems and components (including Airbus Helicopters Arabia).
• Inspect avionic instrument and flight control systems.
• Ensure that all work performed is recorded on the appropriate paperwork and signed on a progressive basis.
• Ensure correct use and control of aircraft parts and materials.
• Verify aircraft status regarding scheduled tasks and deferred items is updated; aircraft condition is serviceable and sign the Release to Service.
• Perform duties as assigned by the Site Manager, ensuring all work is completed timely and meets delivery quality requirements of Airbus.
• Evaluate performance of assigned customer’s personnel.
• Conduct on‑the‑job training activity.
• Train personnel on the use of maintenance manuals.
• Train personnel in all safety directives and FOD procedures.
• Supervise and train junior aircraft technicians.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
