Job summary

Airbus Helicopters Arabia for Aircraft Maintenance is seeking a Senior B1 Mechanical Technician to ensure optimal service support for helicopter maintenance and flight-line activities, targeting peak fleet availability with high safety and quality standards.

The role includes detailed inspection, assembly, installation, repair or replacement of helicopter components and systems, plus on-the-job training on location and potential support to the MRO department.

Qualifications

• Compliance with aviation safety and quality standards.
• Ability to perform inspection, assembly, repair and testing of aircraft components.
• On-the-job training (OJT) on location as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of helicopter fleet in a customer environment.
• Interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints and technical publications to determine repair procedures.
• Ensure tools and equipment are compliant and used correctly before maintenance starts.
• Complete documentation in accordance with company and customer procedures.
• Conduct daily servicing, refueling and flight line operations as required.
• Support MRO department as needed and maintain safety and regulatory compliance.

Job Summary

The B1 Mechanical Technician Senior will be responsible to ensure optimal service support for maintenance and flight line activities to achieve the excellent fleet availability with the highest quality and safety standards. The B1 Mechanical Technician Senior will also be responsible to perform detailed inspection, assembly, installation, repair or replacement of aircraft components and systems, maintenance (both scheduled and unscheduled) or refurbishing of aircraft and function check of components. The B1 Mechanical Technician Senior will perform OJT on location as required. The B1 Mechanical Technician Senior may also be responsible to support MRO department.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all Aviation, Safety, Quality and Export Control Regulations and Procedures
• Comply with all Airbus Helicopters Management Systems, Policies and Regulations
• Work as part of a team, specific duties will include the satisfactory performance of both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of the helicopter fleet, within a customer environment
• Undertake individually or as part of a team, the aircraft maintenance, repair and inspection tasks, troubleshooting, quality checks and the completion of documentation in accordance with Company and Customer procedures
• Undertake individually or as part of a team, all daily preventive, corrective, servicing and routine maintenance works required to release the aircraft to fly
• Perform all scheduled and unscheduled activities to be on time, on cost and on quality while maintaining all safety requirements
• Conduct operational implementation on flight line (daily servicing, refueling, helicopter towing)
• Check every time before to start any maintenance activity tools/GSE´s for condition and expiration date, and ensure their correct use
• Check every time before starting any maintenance activity the components and parts for conditions (damages, leaks etc.) and that the applicability of the documentation is correct
• Determine and perform maintenance requirements for parts, clearances, tolerance, fuel and hydraulic leaks and corrosion damage
• Interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints and technical publication
• Determine repair procedures necessary to correct defective equipment
