Job summary

Tibah Airports Operation | طيبة لتشغيل المطارات is seeking an SMS Manager to lead, govern, and continuously improve the Safety Management System in line with GACA regulations and ICAO standards. The role manages the SMS team, implements the four pillars, and provides reliable safety information for informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Safety Management, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• Recognized SMS/Safety Management certification or equivalent professional training.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Safety Management System.
• Establish and maintain SMS policies, procedures, manuals, standards, and governance frameworks in alignment with regulations.
• Translate safety objectives into departmental plans with measurable targets.
• Oversee four SMS pillars: Safety Policy & Objectives, Safety Risk Management, Safety Assurance, Safety Promotion.
• Lead hazard identification and safety risk management processes.
• Oversee risk register, mitigations, and accountable parties with target dates.
• Coordinate safety audits and regulatory inspections.
